1. Not legal advice — read this first
MoveMate is an information and guidance platform. We are not a law firm, and nothing on this platform — scores, program matches, AI reports, roadmaps, or community signals — constitutes legal advice or creates a representative relationship. Immigration decisions are made exclusively by government authorities. For advice on your specific situation, consult a licensed immigration lawyer or a regulated consultant (in Canada, a RCIC regulated by CICC).
2. Accuracy & official sources
We work hard to keep scoring tables, draw cutoffs, and program requirements synchronized with official government publications, and our CRS engine follows the published IRCC criteria. However, rules change frequently and errors are possible. The official government portal is always the authoritative source, and you must verify all requirements there before submitting any application or making decisions.
3. AI-generated content
Recommendations and Authority Reports are generated with AI assistance based on your profile and our data. AI can be wrong. Statements labelled 'General guidance' are produced from the model's general knowledge rather than verified documents. Use them as a starting point for research, never as a final answer.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to scrape it, or interfere with other users.
5. Acceptable use
You may use MoveMate for your own immigration research or, if you are an advisor, in support of your clients. You may not resell our data, bulk-extract our program database, use the platform to send spam, or misrepresent MoveMate outputs as government decisions.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoveMate is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for application refusals, missed deadlines, financial losses, or any damages arising from reliance on the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (currently zero for free accounts).
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
