MoveMate is an AI-powered immigration intelligence platform designed to help you navigate Canada's Express Entry system and Provincial Nominee Programs. It works in three steps:

• Assess — complete a short intake questionnaire to calculate your CRS score.
• Match — our AI matches your profile to the programs you're eligible for in real time.
• Act — receive personalised recommendations and draw alerts so you never miss an invitation.

You can explore the site and run the CRS calculator without an account. However, to save your profile, receive draw alerts, and unlock AI recommendations you'll need a free MoveMate account. Sign up takes under a minute — just an email and password.

After signing in, click Start free ↗ in the navigation bar. The intake questionnaire walks you through age, education, language scores, work experience, and other factors. It takes about 5 minutes. Your CRS score is calculated instantly when you finish.

Express Entry is Canada's primary pathway for skilled workers to obtain permanent residency. It manages applications for three federal programs: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Candidates are ranked by CRS score; the highest-scoring candidates receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in regular draws.

It varies by pathway. Express Entry targets a 6-month processing time once you receive an ITA. Provincial Nominee Programs can add 3–18 months for the provincial stage. MoveMate's dashboard surfaces current IRCC processing times updated from official sources so you always have an accurate picture.

MoveMate uses the official Comprehensive Ranking System formula (the same one IRCC uses). Your score is built from four sections:

• Section A — Core human capital: age, education, language, Canadian work experience.
• Section B — Spouse / partner factors (if applicable).
• Section C — Skill transferability: combinations of education, language, and foreign work experience.
• Section D — Additional points: provincial nomination, Canadian siblings, post-secondary study, LMIA job offer.

The maximum score is 1,200. General draws typically require 480–550.

MoveMate currently tracks Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and over 40 Provincial Nominee Program streams across BC, Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba — with more provinces being added continuously. The AI filters these to only show programs you are genuinely eligible for based on your profile.

The AI Recommendations engine cross-references your profile against current program eligibility criteria, draw history, and processing timelines. It surfaces the 3–5 pathways with the highest probability of success for your specific situation and explains precisely what's driving each match — so you can have an informed conversation with an immigration consultant.

Yes — your profile is fully editable at any time from the Profile tab in your dashboard. You can update language scores, work experience, education, marital status, and more. Your CRS score and program matches recalculate automatically when you save changes.

The Score Position widget compares your CRS score against the most recent draw cutoff (the minimum score that received an ITA). It also shows a draw-match probability — the percentage of recent draws whose cutoff your score would have cleared — giving you a realistic sense of your current competitiveness.

Draw alert emails are coming soon. When released, you will automatically receive an email notification whenever a new draw occurs and your CRS score meets or exceeds the cutoff. Make sure your email address is up to date in your profile settings.

MoveMate uses Canada's official NOC 2021 classification. Your CRS score and program eligibility depend on your NOC TEER category, so we recommend verifying your occupation code with the IRCC NOC finder before submitting a formal application.

The core CRS calculator and profile assessment are completely free. You can create an account, receive your score, and see which programs you are eligible for at no cost. Advanced AI recommendations and priority draw alerts are part of the upcoming premium tier.

Since MoveMate is currently free, no billing applies. When paid plans launch, we will offer a prorated refund policy with a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. Full terms will be published alongside the paid tier launch.

Yes. Your profile data is stored securely in Firebase (Google Cloud) with encryption at rest and in transit. We do not sell your data to third parties. Profile information is used solely to calculate your CRS score and match programs — it is never shared with immigration authorities or employers without your explicit consent.

Draw results are ingested automatically from the IRCC website, typically within hours of a new draw being published. Program eligibility criteria are reviewed weekly. Processing times are synced from IRCC's official tool on a daily basis.
